We approach every project the same way. Before we write a line of code, we write the full specification. Data sources, step order, edge cases, decision points, handoffs. You review and approve that document before we build exactly what is agreed.
This is not a common practice in the industry. Most agencies start building from a short brief and figure out the details later. That approach shifts risk to the client. When the details surface mid-build, the scope expands and the price changes. We front-load the work so you know the complete picture before you commit.
